Ashram – Ayurveda – Yogic Journey
South India

The Journey

A unique small group journey, for people with a sense of adventure, love of yoga and a desire to learn about the Eastern and Spiritual ways of life.

Many people visit India to spend time at an ashram and to receive darshan (literally, a glimpse of God) through an audience with a guru, who is a spiritual guide. The word “guru” traditionally means either “the dispeller of darkness” or” heavy with wisdom”.  An Indian ashram (place of striving) is established when a guru stays in one place and disciples congregate.

On this Ashram Journey we visit some highlights of South India, including a visit to the home of one India’s most incredible Ashrams the Isha Foundation established by Sadhu Guru to teach people from around the world his methods of what they call “Inner Engineering”.

The main focus of the journey will be to experience the energy and vitality of the Spiritual South of India, including exploring ancient temples, palaces, places of worship an Ashram, Ayurveda Resort, and the gorgeous tropical backwaters of Kerala overlooking the Arabian sea.
