MEREDITH, FOUNDER -Tiwari tours & travel

The manager/owner of the Tiwari Travel Sydney office, Meredith, is an experienced tour operator/travel agent with a huge amount of in-depth knowledge about India and Sri Lanka, making her one of Australia’s most knowledgeable consultants on travel to the subcontinent. Super passionate about her business, she has lived, breathed, and travelled the length and breadth of India and Sri Lanka.

She has explored over 40 other countries. One of her proudest personal achievements was trekking solo to Mt. Everest base camp in 2002. Her main goal for the last 20 years has been to guide and showcase people on how to love and enjoy travel in India, in particular, not just as a holiday destination, but as an opportunity to experience something no other destination in the world can truly offer.

There has always been something very special and significant about India. It’s people, it’s landscape, it’s incredible humanity that will open your mind and soul. The richness that the subcontinent offers, in everything from its traditions, culture, wildlife, vibrant colors, and amazing cuisine, is what ultimately led me to dedicate my working life to Tiwari Travel.

Sunit Tiwari – travel Director, varanasi office, India

Sunit is the owner of Tiwari Tours & Travel Indian office. Born and bred in around the Ganges in Varanasi. He attended the famous Beneras Hindu University studying Economics and tourism. A highly experienced travel manager, small business owner and tour leader. He has been running all the operation of the Varanasi office and leading group foreigners (mainly Australian’s) around India for over 25 years. Very well travelled himself, having lived and worked in Sydney, Australia, Greece and Bulgaria. Sunit is a great source of knowledge of his home country and excellent local support for all our customers to India. His story is an important part of what you should know about Tiwari Travel.

Sunit and Meredith are the nuts and bolts behind the running of Tiwari Tours & Travel and have been working together since 2004, when they met in Varanasi, India.
